Midwives are health care professionals who have the authority to make
midwifery care. Professional midwives are midwives who have supported
by competent authority recognized by the government and have a code of
ethics. Competence: the ability supported by science and technology.

The development of midwifery care:
1. Mothers who give birth
2. Parents who gave birth mother or an elder person.
3. Helper maternity.
4. Midwives as the Maid of doctors in service delivery.
5. Midwives under medical supervision.
6. Midwives as birth attendants.
7. Professional midwives.
Development of Midwives:
1. Helping birth mothers.
2. Maintaining the health of pregnant women and newborns.
